Camera lenses come in every shape and size. Often, you are limited in the type of photography you want to shoot if you can't switch your lens. An ILC camera lets you use multiple lenses with one camera.
Interchangeable lens cameras offer versatility as they are compatible with a range of lenses. DSLR cameras are compatible with EF and EF-S lenses, while EOS M cameras are compatible with EF-M lenses. EOS R system cameras are compatible with RF and RF-S lenses as well, and you can use both EOS M and EOS R cameras with EF-S lenses if you use them with a mount adapter.
