The Canon EOS R1 has DIGIC Accelerator and DIGIC X processors, plus a 24-megapixel stacked sensor, working together for fast performance: freeze action at 40 fps with a 1/64,000 sec top shutter speed and virtually no rolling-shutter distortion. Even the fastest subjects are sharp with Action Priority mode and Cross Type AF, while improved Eye Control AF lets you select a subject just by looking at it. Hybrid photographers can capture superb 6K 60p RAW footage, and shoot Full HD video at the same time as 10 fps bursts of 17-megapixel photos. This pro mirrorless camera lets you connect to devices, computers and networks more easily than ever, delivering content to your client in record time.

Focused on the fastest of subjects

This full-frame professional camera uses Cross Type AF for extra sensitivity and tracks moving subjects even when they are momentarily obscured from view. Eye Control AF lets you select subjects just by looking at them.
Action Priority mode makes shooting sports easier

With Action Priority mode, the EOS R1 recognises key subjects in football, basketball and volleyball and moves the AF according to the action¹. This makes it easier to capture unpredictable moments, such as a shot on goal made from a long pass.

A groundbreaking stacked sensor enables a 1/64,000 sec top shutter speed and virtually zero rolling-shutter distortion.
